Product Description
The Wagner GA5000EAC IC Gun, designed for a max. material pressure of 250bar (highest in the market for Electrostatic AirCoat guns) with Internal Control. The right combination of Airless, AirSpray and Electrostatic charging, combined with the unique Wagner know-how, results in perfect finishing, high productivity, soft spray pattern, excellent wrap around and very high transfer efficiency. The Wagner GA5000EAC IC Gun for AirCoat applications with low-conductive solvent-based material, (Water based requires GA5000EACW) with integrated high-voltage cascade
Additionally required: Control unit EPG5000
Features & Benefits
| 1 | Fast & Easy Maintenance – Simple release of the union nut and housing thanks to the new click system.
2 | 20% Paint Savings – Up to 20% higher transfer efficiency than other products, due to Wagner’s high performance cascade. For various applications, e.g. Agricultural, Transportation Vehicles or Auotmotive Parts.
3 | High Flexibility – Option to choose between internal or external control, depending on requirements. |
 |
4 | Maintence Cost Savings – The quick change nozzle, provides simple nozzle exchanges, without disonnecting the material or compressed air connections, as well as flushing. Providing minimum interuptions of the production process.
5 | Superior Finishing Quality – Wagner’s Automatic Electrostatic GA5000 Guns provide exceptionally homogeneous atomisation with the tiniest droplet sizes, outstanding surface quality reduces the number of rejected parts. |

Application Areas
|
| Best transfer efficiency and superior finishing quality in the field of electrostatic coating – with the Wagner GA5000 electrostatic automatic guns combined with the EPG5000 control unit.
The Wagner Electrostatic Guns are highly economical coating systems, offering decisive advantages in many areas of the industry.
- Rapid amortisation thanks to efficient coating – The gentle spray jet with low kinetic energy is the secret behind the GA5000’s very high transfer efficiency. Switching from conventional coating processes to an electrostatic system with the GA5000 can save between 30 & 50 per cent in materials. Depending on usage, this allows the associated investments to be amortised very quickly, in some cases in less than a year.
- Fine atomisation for high coating quality – The GA5000’s special air system also ensures particularly fine atomisation in minimally small droplets. The homogeneous spray jet does not rebound from the workpiece, but coats curves and inaccessible places with a high-quality finish. It accelerates the coating process, reducing coating times by up to 20% and paving the way for significant increases in productivity.
- The GA5000’s nozzles & air caps – These can also be replaced under pressure even during low pressure applications, which means that production processes are interrupted for just a few seconds. And maintenance is quickly taken care of, thanks to the GA5000’s simple disassembly and assembly.
- Flexible Electrode – The material is ionised by the extremely flexible and durable electrode directly on the material jet. It maintains its form and provides a constant material charge and good wrap-around effect.
The Wagner GA5000 & EPG 5000 are a contribution to the trend of electrostatic processes which reduce coating-related pollutant emissions, as well as automated systems. Compared to the bell atomiser, this solution has a much simpler structure and achieves equally excellent spraying results. |
