Introducing the new Walther PILOT 2K Bonding Gun for Adhesive Applications. Designed to improve production efficiency, it offers greater precision and weighs around 30% less thanks to its new POM shuttle. This lighter design reduces operator fatigue while maintaining excellent control. Enhanced sealing technology also provides wear-free performance and dependable long-term operation, even in demanding applications. Material flow is controlled directly within the shuttle, enabling more accurate dosing. A redesigned trigger and new joint driver provide better control of the B-component needle for consistently clean, precise operation.

The Walther PILOT 2K Bonding Gun processes two-component dispersion adhesives through external mixing, delivering precise and repeatable results. Its adjustable round-to-flat spray pattern and interchangeable air-cap combinations support mixing ratios from approximately 4:1 to 12:1, providing a versatile solution for a broad range of applications.

Technical Description

Walther PILOT 2K Bonding Gun is designed exclusively for two-component dispersion adhesives. It features a reinforced B-component shuttle assembly, a protective plate positioned in front of the shuttle, and fine control of the B-component material flow.

- Precise Adjustment Options – The PILOT 2K includes round-to-wide spray control for precise pattern adjustment. Different air-cap combinations support mixing ratios of approximately 4:1 to 12:1.
- B-Component – A material-flow regulator allows the activator level to be adjusted as needed. Turning the adjustment screw restricts the flow.
- Optimal Application – The system reduces material consumption while maintaining the correct mixing ratio.
- The AirCap can be positioned horizontally or vertically as required.
- All gun components that come into contact with the material are made of stainless steel.

The PILOT 2K Bonding spray gun is designed to apply two-component dispersion adhesives. A suitable feed unit supplies material to the gun. The mixing ratio is determined by the selected nozzle sizes and the supply pressure.

1 | Component A is discharged through the Nozzle.

2 | Component B is discharged through an opening in the aircap. The two components mix in the spray jet outside the gun before being applied to the workpiece.
