Product Description
The Wagner GM5000EAR Round Spray Gun, supplied with Wagner AR5000 AirCap and AR5000 Nozzle. The Wagner GM5000EAR Electrostatic AirSpray (Low Pressure) Gun, used for solvent-based lacquers applications with low-conductive solvent-based material.
The Wagner GM5000EAR Round Spray Gun is compliant with CE and Atex Zone 1 standards. The grounding of the gun is monitored by the control unit for maximum safety of the painter. It cuts the high voltage off as soon as grounding is interrupted.
Wagner’s Electrostatic guns are also designed with the comfort of the operator in mind, ergonomic interaction is enhanced because the gun is lighter and requires less trigger and holding force, helping to reduce fatigue considerably for the operator.
Additionally required: Control unit VM500 or VM5000
Features & Benefits
1 | Unique AirCap & Nozzle Design – The new developed AirCaps and Nozzles provide a superior spraying result. Different AirCap lines are available to achieve superior atomisation and fan adjustment.
- Flat Spray AF5000 Small – smaller spray pattern and slow air speed.
- Flat Spray AF5000 Wide – wider spray pattern and slow air speed.
- Round Spray AR5000 D8 – Full cone with swirl and small spray pattern diameter.
- Round Spray AR5000 D12 – Full cone with swirl and wide spray pattern diameter.
Nozzle sizes from 0.6 to 2mm are available for flat spray to adapt the spray gun to low and high material flow and viscosities. The color coded Nozzles can be changed with no tools. |
 |
2 | Solvent Based Application – Suitable for the majority of solvent based paints with a paint resistant above 150kΩ. (50kΩ. in the LowR Gun & 1kΩ.cm to 1MΩ.cm in the EAW Gun) Connections are directly at the gun base making them easy to remove.
3 | Integrated material valve – The integrated material valve reduces down time because the nozzle can be changed without relieving the material pressure and flushing.
4 | Needle Stroke Adjustment – Precise and easy needle stroke adjustment is achieved with the indexing function for fast tuning of the paint flow. |

Application Areas
|
| The Wagner Electrostatic Guns are highly economical coating systems, offering decisive advantages in many areas of the industry.
High Surface Quality – Due to the homogeneous alignment of the electrostatic field lines, the film thickness is extremely uniform. In addition, particles charged with the same polarity improve significantly the atomisation power for creating an excellent surface finishing
Time Savings due to Wrap Around Effect – The paint, which is electrostatically charged by the spray gun, is attracted to all sides of the grounded object. This wrap-around effect saves time, and depending on the object, it may only need to be coated from one side
- Ergonomics – The combination of low weight, ergonomic design, outstanding balance and low trigger force is the basic building block for low extensive, fatigue-free work.
- Robust Design – Rough environment, intensive usage, different spraying materials and much more is what the GM5000 range is designed for.
- High Safety Standard – The GM5000 gun range is compliant with CE and Atex Zone 1 standards. The grounding of the gun is monitored by the control unit for maximum safety of the painter. It cuts the high voltage off as soon as grounding is interrupted.
- Excellent Finishing Quality – Innovative jets and air caps specifically developed for the perfect combination of optimal droplet size and electrostatic charge for outstanding coating rate and quality.
- Flexible Electrode – The material is ionised by the extremely flexible and durable electrode directly on the material jet. It maintains its form and provides a constant material charge and good wrap-around effect.
- Integrated Control Panel – Depending on the geometry of the workpiece, and the composition, different electrostatics parameters are necessary.
