Product Description
Wagner GM5000EAC Spray Pack, Wagner’s Electrostatic AirCoat Guns are designed for a material pressure of 250bar (highest in the market for Electrostatic AirCoat guns). Suitable to apply high viscosity materials even with long hoses. The Wagner VM500 & 5000 Controllers have been developed in new range of Intelligent Control units based on advanced technology and long experience. The Wagner VM500 & VM5000, allow all electrostatic parameters to be adapted in real time to provide the best gun performances in any conditions.
The right combination of Airless, AirSpray and Electrostatic charging, combined with the unique Wagner ability, results in perfect finishing, high productivity, soft spray pattern, excellent wrap around and extremely high transfer efficiency.
Features & Benefits
1 | Best Atomisation – Unique designed air caps for flat spray and round spray make it possible to achieve an optimum result for different paints.
- Flat Spray LV – best for low to medium viscosity material – red marking
- Flat Spray HV – best for medium to high viscosity material – blue marking
- Round spray – adjustable width
The air caps are color coded to avoid mistakes when replacing them.
2 | Unique ACF 5000 Nozzles –The new developed and patent pending ACF5000 nozzle combines perfect spray pattern with easy flushing. If the nozzle is blocked it can be turned 180° to spray out the clog. |
 |
3 | 250bar Maximum Pressure – Following the development of increasing paint viscosity the GM5000EAC Gun is designed for a maximum material pressure of 250bar (highest in the market for electrostatic AirCoat guns). Therefore the gun is suitable to apply high viscosity materials even with long hoses.
4 | Material Filter Included – For perfect surface results and to avoid clogging of the nozzle, a material filter is integrated in the Wagner GM5000EAC Gun. It can be opened without removing the material hose from the gun, reducing downtime.
5 | Material & Air Swivels – Maneuverability and handling of the GM5000EAC can be increased by using material- and air swivels. Available as option. |

Application Areas
|
| The Wagner Electrostatic Guns are highly economical coating systems, offering decisive advantages in many areas of the industry.
High Surface Quality – Due to the homogeneous alignment of the electrostatic field lines, the film thickness is extremely uniform. In addition, particles charged with the same polarity improve significantly the atomisation power for creating an excellent surface finishing
Time Savings due to Wrap Around Effect – The paint, which is electrostatically charged by the spray gun, is attracted to all sides of the grounded object. This wrap-around effect saves time, and depending on the object, it may only need to be coated from one side
- Ergonomics – The combination of low weight, ergonomic design, outstanding balance and low trigger force is the basic building block for low extensive, fatigue-free work.
- Robust Design – Rough environment, intensive usage, different spraying materials and much more is what the GM5000 range is designed for.
- High Safety Standard – The GM5000 gun range is compliant with CE and Atex Zone 1 standards. The grounding of the gun is monitored by the control unit for maximum safety of the painter, which cuts the high voltage off as soon as grounding is interrupted.
- Excellent Finishing Quality – Innovative jets and air caps specifically developed for the perfect combination of optimal droplet size and electrostatic charge for outstanding coating rate and quality.
- Flexible Electrode – The material is ionised by the extremely flexible and durable electrode directly on the material jet. It maintains its form and provides a constant material charge and good wrap-around effect.
- Integrated Control Panel – Depending on the geometry of the workpiece, and the composition, different electrostatics parameters are necessary.

VM Controllers
- Setting Voltage & Current – For optimal performance of the spray gun, setting voltage and current is essential. Both parameters have to be set in accordance with the material characteristics, environment conditions and workpiece requirements.
- Conforms with Atex Zone 2 – Wagner electrostatic control units are permitted for Atex Zone 2 and can therefore be placed considerably closer to the workplace. Thus, the correct parameters can be quickly and directly set and optimised.
- Recipe – Three recipes for voltage and current can be stored. They can be activated directly from the gun or from the control unit. The activation of pre-defined settings enables the painter to select his preferred working conditions.
- Service Interval – For optimal spraying performance over time, a preventative maintenance of the gun is recommended. The spraying time of the connected gun can be monitored and a service interval can be set.
- Monitoring of Gun Grounding – The grounding of the gun is monitored by the control unit for maximum safety of the painter. If grounding is interrupted high voltage is cut off
- Operator Interface – The very easy and simple one-knob adjustment of all parameters makes it possible to change settings very quickly.
